Wildair Border Collies

Hi! I am Bonnie Harris and five generations of my family grew up in north Idaho. In the spring of 2006, I was finally able to fullfill my dream of moving to western Washington state where it is always green! The dogs and I are loving it!

"Wildair" began as a Morgan horse farm in 1973. When my favorite mare was tragically killed, I turned back to my first love-dogs. At that time, these were Shetland Sheepdogs and they were my joy and life savers for over fifteen years.

Professionally, I have been a veterinary technician, kennel manager and all-breed groomer. I have made canines, wild and domestic, my lifelong study. (Some call me ‘Dog Woman’, as if that is a BAD thing!)

Since AKC recognition, I have added other BCs from both "working" and "show" families. I continue to study and learn about this wonder dog, the Border Collie.

With more than a little help from my friends, I have finished several champions and have dogs in obedience, agility and herding homes as well. My own health does not allow me to participate much, but I am the world's most enthusiastic cheering section.
When I decided to search for a quality blue merle, it was my good luck to stumble upon my lovely "Tia", Ch.Tonalee the Look of Love. She was only five months old at the time, but she stepped out of that crate, looked at me and seemed to say, "Geez, it took you long enough!" She has been my constant companion ever since and the dam of three exceptional litters.

I feel confidant in my foundation stock now, quality individuals from diverse (USA, AUS, NZ, UK) lines. I have some exciting litters planned to combine these dogs into a uniquely American Border Collie capable in all activities.
