Wildair is very happy to have a new face in the pack!
"Pawcific Dream Date" (Lucy) came to live with us in August of 2006. I was struck by her nearly flawless structure and her confident temperament when I went to Pawcific to see all of the puppies in July. How could I resist?
Lucy has a lot to contribute to Wildair and she is a great ambassador! She has never met a stranger and if something is scary....well, she just has to go over and see how it works! She has a beautiful front, with wonderful gait, even as a puppy. She DID mess up a bit "putting on her lipstick", but she also has a very pretty head!
Lucy had a big debut weekend at the GHKC shows. Sat. WB and a BBE Group II, Sun. BOB over ranked specials. After that warm up, Lucy traveled across the country to St.Louis where she was best in Sweeps at the National, second in her large class on Saturday and BOW on Sunday. Then on to Northern CA, where she went BOW on Thursday for another five points at the N.Ca BCC specialty and WB on Friday for one more point.
Lucy spent some time resting on her laurels, then came back out at the Rose City Classic supported entry in Portland, OR to finish with another major and went on to two BOS the next two days as a special.Thanks to Jenny Fish! She and Lucy are quite the team!
Lucy and her girl, Jenny, return to the NorCal Specialty in 2008 and take the whole show!
What to do next? Lucy will retire to the whelping box in 2009, and do some herding before returning to the show ring in 2010.
