This girl is the love of my life! Her personality and character are matched only by
her structure, flowing gait and just plain beauty.
I can never thank Lee and Tonya Levy enough for entrusting me with this wonderful dog.
Tia picked up her first points in 2001 while wearing her "teenage tatters". In the spring
of 2002, Tia swept to her majors. And after her long anticipated litter in the fall of 2002, Tia finished in the spring of 2003 in style with another 4 point major! Many thanks to Laurie Politte and Jenny Fish for handling Tia in the ring for me!
We have retained a wonderful blue merle boy here at Wildair from Tia's first litter,
Wildair Blue on Black, "Kenny". All four puppies are outstanding and two are retained here at Wildair.
The other two are in loving show homes-look for them around the country! Many thanks to Stephanie and Chris and John and Karen for having such faith and enthusiasm for these special kids. Check out their pages below:
Tia gave us a second long awaited litter from Ch. Brackenhill Royal Tartan HS ROMX
early in 2004. Two of these girls made their ring debuts in 2005, including
our own, CH Wildair Back in Black, "Jane", who finished her title handily and
sister, CH Wildair Skirtzndirt, "Gemma", who finished in just a few weekends in 2005!
Tia produced her third and final litter on April 20, 2005 and now begins her
much deserved retirement from the broodbox!
As with the first two, this one, by Ch.Wildblue Diamond in the Ruff, seems
too good to be true. Further, she gave us two boys, her second and third in
all! So, we just had to keep one. Meet "Jones" and check back on him
once in a while. I think he has a sparkling future ahead!
Jones' brother, Wildair Comunication Breakdown,
is also set to do great things with new owner, Dani Alexander of Portland, Oregon. She has plans for
him in all venues and I do believe there is no doubt they will succeed in all they try!
The lone girl, Wildair Brilliance and Fire, has gone to live with Dad at
Wildblue. She is really special! I am sure she will continue the legacy of her merle family members and then some!
Oh and Don't forget to look at Tia's "Uncle Merlin" on our ancestors page. Merlin is the first and only Blue Merle Border Collie to have won a Best In Show in the WORLD!
