This girl is the love of my life! Her personality and character are matched only by her structure,
flowing gait and just plain beauty.
I can never thank Lee and Tonya Levy enough for entrusting me with this wonderful dog. Tia picked up
her first points in 2001 while wearing her "teenage tatters". In the spring of 2002, she swept to her
majors. And after her long anticipated litter in the fall of 2002, Tia finished in the spring of 2003
in style with another 4 point major! Many thanks to Laurie Politte and Jenny Fish for handling Tia in
the ring for me.
Tia has had three litters in her life with a total of ten puppies. One died tragically young, and one
is in the best possible home in the world as a faithful companion. All of the others are finished
champions and some are titled in other endeavors, as well. They are only limited by their owner's
interests and time!
These three litters were sired by three different dogs. Tia produced very well with all three and was
an excellent mother.
Tia, as well as two of her sons and a daughter, were very good goose dogs when we were doing that back
in Idaho. Tia even hazed geese when she was well pregnant with her last litter, and a son from that
litter joined in as a young pup until we moved.
I have been so very lucky to have Tia in my life and she is still going strong. Hopefully, she will do
so for many more years to come. She was spayed years ago and enjoys being the main house dog and ball
chaser.
Oh and Don't forget to look at Tia's "Uncle Merlin" on our ancestors page. Merlin is the first and only Blue Merle Border Collie to have won a Best In Show in the WORLD!
